Ankara–İzmir High-Speed Railway Project

Project overview

The project aims to establish a fast, safe and low-carbon rail connection between Ankara and İzmir and is one of Türkiye’s largest railway infrastructure investments. The electrified high-speed railway is intended to improve accessibility between major cities and regional centres along the route. The project is being developed in accordance with international environmental and social standards.
